REACT (Rural EuroAfrica Collaboration to Transition) is an Erasmus+ project aimed at strengthening the digital and entrepreneurial skills of rural populations in Spain, Senegal, and Kenya. It brings together three partner organisations to train beneficiaries in digital tools (EU DigComp framework) and green entrepreneurship.
REACT is co-funded by the European Union's Erasmus+ programme, under Key Action 2 (Cooperation and Innovation). It also benefits from support from partner organisations in Spain, Senegal, and Kenya.
The project operates in three countries: Spain (coordinator), Senegal (partner – Casamance region, Ziguinchor), and Kenya (partner – Kisumu region). Each country has a local team and training centres.
The REACT project spans 30 months, divided into two main phases. Phase 1 (6 months) assessed digital literacy needs. Phase 2 (24 months) is dedicated to training, entrepreneurial support, and dissemination of results.
