REACT (Rural EuroAfrica Collaboration to Transition) is an Erasmus+ Capacity Building project in the field of Youth. It empowers young people and women living in rural areas of Spain, Senegal and Kenya through digital inclusion, sustainable entrepreneurship and civic participation.
REACT is funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ programme, action "Capacity Building in the field of Youth" (ERASMUS-YOUTH-2025-CB). Project reference: 101246733.
The project runs for 24 months in three rural territories: Andalusia (Spain), Casamance (Senegal) and Emuhaya (Kenya).
REACT pursues three objectives: digital empowerment and inclusion; green entrepreneurship and economic empowerment; civic participation and democratic engagement. By the end of the project: 75 young people and women trained in digital skills, 15 microenterprises created, 3 digital learning centres, 3 business incubators and 20 youth workers trained as trainers.
DigComp is the European Digital Competence Framework. REACT uses it, together with entrepreneurship methodologies and the Training of Trainers approach, to design its training programmes.
